Data Retention Archive

Nordic Backup Features
Having a “last day” backup is a minimum, but today many files are often changed multiple times, making it hard to retain all of these changes with traditional backup solutions. Retention allows for time between when a file is deleted or changed from your server to be maintained on our server.

During backup, if Nordic Backup finds that you have deleted a file on your computer, it will put the corresponding deleted file already backed up on our server into a retention area. The retention policy defines how long files inside the retention area will be kept on our server before they are deleted automatically. Nordic Backup offers retention for more than a year makes sure that you are protected against accidental deletion.
